Infinite gold glitch (still works 2025)

Loot the lock box at Fairvale Shanty, ride out to the Grizzlies border and back, and it refills - repeat for endless gold nuggets, jewelry and pocket watches.

The step-by-step version saves your place, times your run and ticks off your Ledger as you go.

The steps

1. Set a waypoint on Fairvale Shanty

   • Where: Fairvale Shanty, Roanoke Valley

   Open the map and set a waypoint on FAIRVALE SHANTY - a little stone shack in the hills of Roanoke Valley, north of "The Loft" (New Hanover, near the Ambarino border).

   • Open the map
   • Find Fairvale Shanty (north of The Loft)
   • Set a waypoint

2. Ride to the stone shack

   • Where: Fairvale Shanty
   • When: Daytime (as in the video)

   Ride to the small stone shack on the grassy hillside with red flowers. Go in through the door.

   • Walk inside

3. Open the lock box on the table

   On the table inside is a LOCK BOX. Open it and take the GOLD NUGGET, the JEWELRY (platinum earrings) and the PLATINUM POCKET WATCH.

   • Take the platinum pocket watch

4. Get on your horse and ride away up the path

   Get back on your horse and ride up the dirt path away from the shack.

5. Ride until this big rock

   Keep riding until you reach the big rock the video points at (red arrow).

6. Keep going until "Grizzlies" pops up

   • Where: Grizzlies border (Ambarino)

   Keep riding past the rock until the place name GRIZZLIES appears on screen (you have crossed into Ambarino). That is far enough for the box to refill.

7. Ride back to the shack and loot again

   Turn around and ride straight back to Fairvale Shanty. Open the lock box again - the gold nugget, jewelry and pocket watch are back.

   You can do this as many times as you like, then sell the gold nuggets and valuables at a fence.
